"Just got into Ames for Farm Progress and wanted some Mexican food. Did a simple search for Mexican food on yelp and La Casa Maya came up. I had the Hidalgo street tacos which is chorizo and steak. Amazing. Great flavor and texture. La Casa Maya did not disappoint. Don't forget to ask for the hot hot salsa. Great pepper flavor and it sticks with you in a good way. Staff was super friendly as well. If you are ever in town, check it out."
